Escaping the destruction of his home world by the villain Stampede, Shaman uses his mystical powers to save a young child, Bravestarr. On the distant, dry and desolate planet of New Texas the discovery of Kerium, a rare and powerful crystal, brings an infinite number of colonists and criminals from all corners of the galaxy. Many years later Tex Hex, imbued with Stampede's power begins to terrorize New Texas with his villainous gang, prompting the Mayor to send out a distress call requesting one thousand lawmen! A lone figure steps off the spaceship, Marshall Bravestarr, a young man with undiscovered powers and a destiny to fulfill...
